Over mezelf ...

De natuur is mijn allergrootste inspiratiebron. Ik schilder niet meteen wat ik zie, maar wat er van over blijft in mijn herinneringen. Kleur is voor mij zeer belangrijk, het maakt de vorm van het werk maar is vooral sfeerbepalend.

In de Velodroomstraat te Liedekerke opende Van Daele Christoph zijn eigen on- en offline galerij met schilderwerken en fotografie. Christoph is geboren op 20 oktober 1969, maar heeft eigenlijk nog nooit de binnenkant van een kunstacademie gezien.

Geboren in Aalst en verder opgegroeid in lede (Oost-Vlaanderen). Zijn opleiding volgde hij in de industriële electronica te Aalst maar heeft tot op heden bijna 25 jaar als manager in een winkel achter de rug. Toch schuilt in deze nuchtere en efficiënte winkelier ook een erg kunstzinnige ziel.

Een autodidact nog wel, want hij volgde nooit enige kunstacademie. 'Toen ik zeventien of achtien was, wilde ik mij inschrijven, maar alle plaatsen waren al volzet'. 'Nadien kwam het er niet meer van en ben ik aan mijn carriere begonnen. Ik wilde me dan ook niet meer binden aan academische kennis. Gevoel voor kunst en dynamiek is toch blijkbaar iets waarmee je wordt geboren.'

'Ik heb alles zelf ontdekt doorheen de jaren, van klassiek tot modern. Ik ben een fan van Monnet en vele andere grote kunstenaars. 'Hij is zelf ook autodidact en ik beschouw hem als mijn leermeester.'

Met zijn eigen en deze online gallerie wil de kunstenaar Van Daele Christoph permanent zijn collectie kunnen presenteren, uiteraard met de mogelijkheid tot verkoop.

'Exposeren in kunstgalerijen (waarvoor héél véél respect) of op tentoonstellingen vergt ook heel wat tijd en werk. 'Hier heb ik de kans de mensen mee te geven wat er achter het schilderij schuilt en bovendien koop je rechtstreeks van de kunstenaar, waardoor ik mijn werken ook scherper kan prijzen.'

Born in Aalst and further raised in lede (flanders). He followed his training in industrial electronics in Aalst. He worked almost 25 years as a manager in a big retailshop. Yet it lies in a sober and efficient retailer also a very artistic soul.

A self-taught still, for he never took any art school. "When I was seventeen or eighteen, I would like to register, but all seats were already fully booked". "Afterwards it was gone and I started my career. I also didn't wanted me to bind to academic knowledge. Dynamism and sense of art is still something that obviously you are born with. "

"I did everything myself discovered throughout the years, from classical to modern. I'm a fan of Monnet and many other great artists. "Monnet is an autodidact and I consider him as my teacher."
